  5. This Computer Payroll program is completely menu-driven and supports weekly,
  6. bi-weekly and monthly payrolls by departments. Up to nine different piece rates
  7. can be accommodated. Output includes a detailed payroll register. Earnings are
  8. derived from salary, hourly wages, piece rate wages, employee advances, sick
  9. pay, vacation pay, holiday pay and non-taxable income. Deductions include
  10. federal and state income tax, FICA (the 50 farm-worker exemption is handled),
  11. state disability insurance and up to six additional user-defined deductions.
  12. Tax tables are easily set up and maintained on a yearly basis by the user; a
  13. programmer is not required to make changes to the tables. A Tax Management
  14. module allows the user to track all tax liabilities and deposits. Standard Form
  15. W2 processing is supported.
